ATTENTION – MOODUS BRIDGE DETOUR ELIMINATED!!

As of August 22, 2010, the new bridge at the intersection of Route 151 (Moodus-Leesville Road) and Route 149 has been completed and Moodus-Leesville Road is now open to through traffic!  Our thanks to the CT DOT for completing this project in a much shorter period of time than was first anticipated.  The directions provided above are again current.

PARKING

Parking in front of Old St. Bridget’s Church is extremely limited.  You may park on the street, in either the adjacent cemetery or the one across the street, or at the parking lot for "My Father’s Place" (which is about 1/10th of a mile farther up North Moodus Road on your left).  If you park on the street, be aware that cars frequently come up the hill approaching the Church at excessive rates of speed, and extreme care is needed both in parking and in crossing the road at that location.  If you park on the street, please leave the parking space directly in front of the Church open so Father Fluet can park there when he arrives from the new Church.

Parking at the New St. Bridget’s Church is behind the church and is ample.
